Description: If you've never picked up a pointed pen, this class is perfect for you! You will learn the basic techniques, styles, and letter forms of modern pointed pen calligraphy. We will walk through the alphabet and the foundations of calligraphy. Then we'll learn how to break a few rules to develop your own style (feel free to bring your favorite quote to letter). Through this process, you will learn how to find your own voice with a pen and paper because the most beautiful part of art is not the perfection of the piece, but the voice of the artist.
