Description: This Workshop Series is all about practical application of methods and tools that help early-stage startups find their footing. During this interactive series you’ll learn startup fundamentals and then take time to put them into practice and get feedback as you work alongside like-minded entrepreneurs.

ONE // 9.11.17 // Business Model Canvas Workshop: The business model canvas is a strategic tool that lays out the nine key building blocks of your business to gives you a simple structure and answer key questions about your business model and its execution. We’ll walk through each of the nine building blocks and work through the Business Model Canvas for your venture. You’ll leave with a strong path for your business model and clarity on each component.

TWO // 9.18.17 // Build. Measure. Learn. Workshop: In this workshop we’ll apply Lean Startup Methodology to your idea or company. We’ll work on the essentials of creating your MVP, how to build a feedback loop and get customer validation. Understanding this process and being able to implement it well is critical to figuring out what your audience needs, wants and will pay for without spending tons of time, energy and resources first.

THREE // 9.25.17 // Perfecting Your Pitch Workshop : Whether you’re speaking to your customers and clients, potential investors or even just your family and friends, you want to be able to clearly articulate your value proposition(s) and the essence of your business in a succinct and captivating way. We’ll go through a pitch building exercise to formulate the language and then have a chance to practice and gain constructive feedback from objective listeners.

Facilitated by Rachael Parker-Chavez: Rachael is a Social Impact Strategist, helping small business owners and entrepreneurs build businesses that make the world better. Rachael loves living in LA with her husband and three furry kids, hearing people’s stories and drinking lots of coffee. She also loves working with entrepreneurs to ideate, create and help develop the groundwork for sustainable and successful businesses.
