Liberty Worth || Solo Exhibition || "Advent: Come Let Us Adore Him"

Out of necessity Liberty Worth found herself using junk mail as creative expression. As she was raising two toddlers, painting with oils became a challenge. Inspired by her mixed media courses in college, she began creating art with junk mail. "Advent: Come Let Us Adore Him" shares the story of a man who lived a life of humility, sacrifice and freedom. Liberty Worth's solo exhibition will be on view at As We Dwell in the Arts District with an opening night on November 2nd from 6-9pm.

Liberty Worth is an artist, quilter, designer, teacher and poet. For Liberty, art and creating are a way of life - helping us make sense of the world - it's beauty and pain and enabling us to be a part of the act of creation. She teaches courses and lessons in mixed media, meditation and healing through art, sewing and quilting. She is a native Los Angelino living in the heart of the city in a historic home surrounded by her husband, kids, pets and beloved neighbors. You can find her on Instagram at @libbydibby and @thehumblegift.
